ART Education...

So creative friends stir up those creative juices, take an art class to learn about the MASTERS... they are worthy of our respect and research.  Art tells a beautiful story of the way life was...  in the Gothic to Early Renaissance reflected the transformation abd rise of the master artist.  The story of Christ is reflected in much of the art.  The RICH depth in both meaning, and asthetics is unique to this time in history, and I think it is FABULOUS!
Buy a piece of art you believe in that tells a story, partnered with a fun current abstract painting to keep the interest alive!  Check out some of my favorite master painters...

Giotto di Bondone- learned to draw from life, he moved art towards a three- dimensional form away from the "Greek manner" which was two- dimmension.

THE BETRAYAL of CHRIST:

Leonardo De Vinci- launched the study of anatomy in effort to accurately depict the way the muscles move under the skin... yes he dissected human bodies all in the name of art!

Jan van Eyck and Robert Campin- both artists tell a story through every detail paintings... Their art is worth
researching!

MICHELANGELO: speaks of his inspiration being the Holy Spirit.  His masterpieces: the Sistene chapel and the David to name just a few... LOVE LOVE LOVE HIS WORK!
The Michelangelo Creation of Adam showed the tale from the Book of Genesis with God the Father breathing life into Adam, the first man and their fingers touch, and Adam is a bare mirror image of God.

CARAVAGGIO: master of Chiroscuro which is the artistic term applied to a strong change of luminosity on an object where various levels of light can be observed.
